The aim of the Michigan Accordion Society is to promote the Accordion as a beautiful and versatile instrument , and in keeping with this we have added a number of sources for instruction. LANA GORE

Founder of THE MUSIC CENTER in Dearborn Heights Michigan and taught the accordion/bayan studies at Wayne State University in Detroit. Students may obtain an accordion performance degree from Wayne State University. Lana was on the teaching faculty at WSU from 1985 until she passed away in 2006. She had several students from the U.S. as well as Europe study accordion there.
